Pantoro Limited (ASX:PNR) has appointed Wayne Zekulich as an independent non-executive director, bringing to Pantoro broad experience with mergers and acquisitions, arranging and underwriting project financing, privatisation and debt and equity capital markets.
Along with the board appointment, Pantoro has made several other key appointments to ensure its Norseman gold development activities progress while Halls Creek gold production is maintained.
Appointments include group geology manager Andrew Finch; group mining engineer Tim Davidson; metallurgical and mineral processing consultant Peter Sperring and general manager Norseman Gold Project Paul Androvic.
Provide management firepower
Pantoro chairman Mike Jefferies said, “Wayne brings a wealth of experience to Pantoro and strengthens our accounting, audit and corporate governance functions.
“The additional senior appointments provide Pantoro with the management firepower required to successfully drive the Norseman project forward and ensuring sustained successful production from Halls Creek.”
Two additional drill rigs
Zekulich was previously chief financial officer of Gindalbie Metals Ltd and prior to that chief development officer of Oakajee Port and Rail.
He holds a Bachelor of Business degree and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
In the not-for-profit sector, Zekulich is a member of the John Curtin Gallery Board, the Curtin Business School of Accounting Advisory Board and is a member of the University of Western Australia Audit Committee
Development activities at Norseman are on track with two additional drill rigs, for a total of three, due to arrive on-site in early October.
