Intrepid Mines calls for halt pending impact on balance sheet

The halt will remain in place until Monday 18th September 2017.

Intrepid held $22 million in cash at the end of June 2017

Intrepid Mines Ltd (ASX:IAU) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX this morning, pending an update due to a development that may affect the carrying value of the mining properties on the company's balance sheet.

Intrepid has assets in the African nation of Zambia.

The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Monday 18th September 2017, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
