Bawdwin was a world-class mine when in production

Top End Minerals (ASX:TND) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX, pending details of a capital raising.

Last month the company reached an agreement for an option to acquire an 85% interest in the Bawdwin Zinc-Lead-Silver-Copper Mine lease located in Myanmar.

The historical Bawdwin Mine was reputedly one of the richest mines in the British Empire before World War II.

The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Wednesday 21st June 2017, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
